Finding the Wyrmway

Enter Wyrm’s Rock prison. Find the secret passage (two torches on the wall — extinguish one with a water spell to reveal the door). Descend into the Wyrmway.

The Four Trials

Trial	Solution
Justice	Place a painting of a judge on the pedestal. The painting is in the room.
Insight	Read the books on the shelf. The answer is “The Devil’s Fee.”
Strategy	Chess puzzle. Move the Queen to checkmate in 2 moves.
Courage	Use lightning damage on the statue (Witch Bolt works at level 1).

Ansur Boss Strategy

Ansur is an undead bronze dragon with 400 HP. He uses massive lightning breath attacks and can fly.

Strategy

1. Globe of Invulnerability — the most important spell for this fight. Cast it and stand inside. Immune to all damage for 3 turns.
2. Lightning Resistance — Potions of Lightning Resistance or Elixirs of Universal Resistance. His breath weapon is all lightning damage.
3. Stay at range — Ansur has powerful melee attacks. Ranged characters are safer.
4. Don’t group up — His breath weapon is a line AoE. Spread out.
5. Radiant damage — Undead are vulnerable. Use Divine Smite, Guiding Bolt, Spirit Guardians.

• Balduran’s Giantslayer (legendary greatsword): The best two-handed weapon in the game. Double STR mod to damage against large+ enemies. Advantage against large+ creatures.
• Helm of Balduran: Legendary helmet. Stun immunity, +1 AC and saves.
