Act 2: Keep Jaheira Alive

Meet Jaheira at Last Light Inn. She’s suspicious of you. Convince her you’re not a True Soul. She must survive the Moonrise Towers assault. During the assault after the Shadowfell, she can die easily if you let her fight alone. Take control: ask her to join your party for the assault. She becomes a temporary companion.

Recruiting Jaheira Permanently

After Ketheric’s defeat, talk to Jaheira at Moonrise Towers. She mentions she wants to go to Baldur’s Gate. Invite her to join your camp. She accepts. She’s now a permanent companion.

Act 3: Jaheira’s Personal Quest

In the Lower City: visit her family home (Elerrathin’s Home). Meet her adopted children. Then visit the Guildhall (Nine-Fingers’ hideout). Jaheira has history with Nine-Fingers Keene. Resolve the conflict between the Guild and the Zhentarim.

Finding Minsc

Jaheira is essential for recruiting Minsc. With her in your party: go to the Counting House, fight the doppelganger, chase Minsc into the sewers, knock him out (non-lethal). Jaheira talks him down. Minsc joins.

Jaheira as a Companion

• Class: Druid (Circle of the Land). Powerful spellcaster with Wild Shape utility. She has unique banter with Minsc, Shadowheart, and many others from her BG1/BG2 history.
