Act 1: The Githyanki Warrior

1. Recruit Lae’zel from the cage near Emerald Grove. Free her from the tieflings (intimidation or combat).
2. She’s obsessed with finding a githyanki crèche for purification. Follow her lead to the Mountain Pass.
3. At the Crèche Y’llek: enter the Zaith’isk (githyanki purification device). She sits in it — you can persuade her out or let her go through with it.

Act 2: Vlaakith’s Command

Vlaakith appears to Lae’zel. She commands Lae’zel to enter the Astral Prism and kill the inhabitant. This is a test of faith. If Lae’zel enters, she discovers the truth: Vlaakith is lying. The inhabitant is Orpheus, the true githyanki leader.

Act 3: Free Orpheus

Lae’zel’s personal arc culminates in the decision about Orpheus. Free him (using the Orphic Hammer from Raphael’s House of Hope) and Lae’zel becomes his champion. She vows to lead the githyanki rebellion against Vlaakith.

Best Ending

Free Orpheus. Convince Lae’zel to take up his cause. In the epilogue, she rides off on a red dragon, vowing to liberate her people from Vlaakith’s tyranny. If romanced, she asks you to join her among the stars.
